Trip home starts out interesting.  We departed Sierra Leone and noticed that we weren't gaining altitude.  We started to turn back, making two passes over the airport, the pilot announces that we have a problem with the gear, but not to worry. Everybody is getting nervous and when we land safely, everybody claps, starts praising the Lord (maybe Allah as well), soon some praise and worship, some praying in tongues, everybody but about 10 of us rush off the plane.  Chip starts sharing Bible verses with about 6 ladies around us, had a little worship service with Pastor Chip, I explain what happen to the gear indicator, that is was probably just an indicator light.  They like Chip's explanation better---Jesus was watching over us.  We've got about an hour to depart to make our connection in Nigeria.  Hope they hurry.

Having fun in Sierra Leone
Jay
