I wish everyone I know could have met Gerarld, Simon, Mathilde, Jacob, and Robert.  To be honest, I was beginning to think there is no hope for Sierra Leone--even with God.  But having met these student leaders of the Campus Crusade movement at Fourday University I have some measure of hope.  Chip and I were blown away by the stories of these kids--ie I was part of a secret society in my village.  As a result, I had all these terrible nightmares.  Then I met Jesus and the bad dreams went away...Or my father had five wives and all the wives hated each other.  After my dad died, I heard someone preach and I gave my life to Christ.  My mother now trusts Jesus....Or I am studying to be an engineer so I can rebuild Sierra Leone, which I believe now is the rejected stone among the nations.  But I believe it can be the cornerstone of West Africa.
